This summer, we introduce our new soft fruit tour, with expert storyteller Norma Lyall giving a guided walking tour of the journey from plant to punnet.
Starting on 8 July, we are running a series of hour-long walking tours. You will see the fruit and how it grows, hear the bees pollinating the plants, taste the freshest of berries and smell the scent of summer.
We produce the best traditional Scottish food, grown, picked and processed on our family farm. And this is your chance to find out a bit more and get the full berry experience.
Soft fruit tour
Guide Norma Lyall is a local food & drink ambassador. She has a keen interest in regional tourism and community engagement, and says she is delighted to take on the role of storyteller.

“So we’re keen to share the story of how our fruit gets from plant to punnet and what makes it so tasty. The walking tour takes around an hour and is designed to be informal but informative.
“It’s your chance to take a peek behind the scenes at how we make the best possible use of the fruit we grow.
“We also explain how we’re working on increasing the biodiversity on the farm. We are an agricultural business that takes its products right through to market, truly from field to fork.

- The first tour starts at 10am on 8 July and spaces are deliberately limited to maximise your experience on the day. We meet at the farm shop and cafe, enjoy a refreshment, then meander our way through the fields.
There are also tours on the following two Fridays – 15 and 22 July.
Further tours will appear on the website as demand dictates. It costs £8 per person and is suitable for all ages.
We take things at a leisurely pace and try to take as easy a route as possible. However there will be some rough ground underfoot and it may be wet in places which may make it unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
