Our farm shop offers a piece of foodie heaven, lined with plenty of sweet and savoury delights to explore.
It’s home to not only our Castleton preserves, fruits and ready meals but droves of food and drinks products from all over Scotland.
From Dean’s Shortbread to Duncan’s of Deeside oatcakes and sauces from Succulento to Mearns Marmalades, you’re never short of choice.
And then there’s our drinks corner stacked with plenty of beer, cider and spirits from a host of Scottish producers. Gin plays a big (and popular) feature and we’ve selected The Gin Bothy as our Supplier of the Month for July.
About The Gin Bothy
A jam-making session was where the story all started when owner Kim Cameron wanted to put left-over fruit juice to good use.
After experimenting with different gin and juice combinations, Kim cracked the perfect recipe to hook the masses.
Journey through the hills of the Angus Glens with The Gin Bothy which bottles heritage, tradition and plenty of contemporary twists.
Its fruit-infused gin liqueurs are right up our street with a growing range using local raspberries, strawberries and blueberries.
It’s thanks to the rich countryside which surrounds the Glamis-based distillery that the spirit has its distinct taste. The foraging of pine needles, heather and other botanicals play an important role in its distilling process.
The process embraces the age-old traditions of distilling and continues to batch, number and pour every bottle by hand. And with a global customer base, that’s a lot of bottles.
Whether you like the sweetness of a liqueur or a bit of punch with an original distil, we have a range of The Gin Bothy collection at Castleton Farm.
