The Provenance Festival is returning for another year, and it gives us all an opportunity to to get behind the scenes and hear first-hand the stories behind our iconic and sustainable food and drink from the people who make it.
And of course Castleton is taking part. We’re throwing open our polytunnels and packhouse to give you a peek behind the scenes in how our beautiful blueberries and succulent strawberries make it to the supermarket shelves.
We all know that local food tastes miles better – and there is no more glorious location than Castleton Farm. On two consecutive Friday mornings, you have the chance to sign up for our exclusive walking tour where you can pick your own fruit straight from the field.
Tour guide Norma Lyall is leading the expedition with her amazing in-depth knowledge of the farm and the fruit. You discover how we grow and then pack our berries, finishing up with a chance to pick your own blueberries.
