Local food tastes miles better
At Castleton Farm, we produce the best traditional Scottish food, grown, picked and processed on our family farm.
We all know that local food tastes miles better – and there is no more glorious location than Castleton Farm.
Find us in the fertile fields of Aberdeenshire, just off the main route through the North-east, and treat yourself to a fabulous experience with great food in gorgeous surroundings.
The café and conservatory
Our café and conservatory offer a friendly welcome, serving up homemade food, freshly prepared with locally sourced produce.
Whether you’re looking for a tasty snack, a mid-morning coffee and cake, or something more substantial, our menu will have something to suit your taste.
As well as our regular café, we have an airy and spacious conservatory where you can enjoy both the scenery and the hospitality. It also welcomes well-behaved dogs.
We have our usual charming table service, and there’s also a convenient kiosk. Here you can order hot drinks, or experiment with our newly-installed machine that blends ice cream with our own fruit.
All this makes it easier for food and drinks to be enjoyed in an outdoors environment. Especially the exciting tractor-themed play equipment for younger visitors, which is bound to appeal to the wee farmer in every child.

Scottish taste and quality
Every cake is made from scratch using Scottish flour, local free-range eggs and often with fruit from our farm when in season.
Our hot drinks are from Scottish Fairtrade coffee roaster Matthew Algie.
Our menu also features dishes specially created for vegetarians and vegans, and suitable for gluten-free diets as well as a special menu for your little ones. And of course these are available to take away if you’re in a rush or fancy a treat later on.
